I added a few sparkly swirls to give it a bit of sparkle.
Hope you like it !!!!!

Designer's Choice Challenge - Repeat Impressions

It's time for a new Challenge over at the House that Stamps Built!
The Challenge is called Designer's Choice.
Here's how the "Designer's Choice Challenge" will work!
All of the fabulous design team members for Repeat Impressions
will be assigned a Wednesday, and we get to set the
"theme" for the challenge!  The Theme for this
week's DCC is hosted by Kendra and she
is challenging the Rock Stars to make a Christmas Card
with a Snowflake on it.

Here is my Snowflake Challenge card:

I stamped "8806-N, Penguin Trio" onto cryogen card stock and colored in parts of the penguins with copics.  I used a spellbinder die to cut my penguins out and for the mat behind it. I also used the sentiment "8810-H, Snow Much Fun" and stamped it in the lower left hand corner directly onto the DP with snowflakes.  It isn't showing up too well, so lesson learned.....   I added some stickles to the hats on the penguins and also for snow under their feet. I also used the Spellbinder dies Create a flakes to cut out 2 snowflakes and then I added some blue glitter to them to make them sparkle.  I added some ribbon going diagonal in 2 of the corners, a bow with a snowflake brad and then a few blue pearls to finish it off.  Hope you all like it !!!!!

Take a peek at what the rest of the DT has created for
this great Challenge.

Sweet Stamps Tag Challenge

Today our challenge at Sweet Stamps blog is to make a tag. This is an awesome challenge, we want to see how many different types of tags everyone comes up with, it can be any shape and size, but be sure to use a Sweet Stamps stamp....

Anyone can enter, but if you use a Sweet Stamps rubber stamp you get two entries into the challenge for a chance to win a $20 shopping spree. Visit the design team blog and you will see what everyone on the Design team has done.

Here is my creation:

For my tag, I used "154 Labels" from Marianne Designs Creatables to make my tag shape.  I stamped Mrs Snow from the stamp set "Mr and Mrs Snow Duo 207" onto my tag shape and colored her with my copics.  I added some gold pearls to make it look a bit fancy and then I traced the outline of the tag shape onto some pink card stock  and cut out by hand to make a mat for my tag.  I added some gold trimmed green ribbon to the top of my tag for hanging/attaching purposes.  I may go back and add some sparkle to make it look like Mrs Snow is sitting on sparkling snow.... I love sparkle.... Simple but really great looking with all the sparkle, especially from the Cryogen Card stock that I use.

Be sure to visit Sweet Stamps blog and see what the rest of the team has created for you.   And please join in on the fun!

Repeat Impressions Stamp of The Week

Repeat Impressions "Stamp of the Week" is on their blog "The House that Stamps Built", and the "1014-G, Earth Ornament" is the featured stamp! The details to this offer is only available on their blog! Also, check out the rest of the design teams' fabulous creations with this fun stamp.

I stamped the "Earth Ornament" 3 times onto cryogen card stock and colored them with my copics.  I cut each one out by hand.  My sentiment is computer generated as I don't have this sentiment from Repeat Impressions, but it is in the store 406-H, Peace, Love..  I used some glittered gold card stock and printed my sentiment straight onto it.  I added some really awesome sparkly ribbon to the top and bottom.  I added my Earth Ornaments to make them look like 3 ornaments, I used pop dots behind them.  I added some blue ribbon for my hangers.  And a bow with a sparkly gem in the center to finish it off.  Hope you all like it!!!!

Be sure to check out the creations by some of the other RI Rock Stars

I am a few days late on posting a card I made for my husband for our 20th Anniversary which was Nov. 16th.  We have a pretty rough past couple of years, so hopefully these next ones will be better.

What If Wednesday - Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge

It’s WHAT IF? Wednesday
and time for a new sketch challenge!
The sketch that Wendy designed for the Rock
Stars to follow is:

Here is my take on the Sketch:

For my card I used 2 different stamps from Repeat Impressions.  I used "8801-O, Swinging Penguin" and "8810-H, Snow Much Fun". I stamped the Penguin onto cryogen card stock and colored him in with copics.  The sentiment is also stamped onto cryogen and I sponged some red ink around the edges to make it stand out a little bit. I had to add some pearls to the corners cause they kinda looked bare.

Head on over to the House That Stamps Built blog and
see what the rest of the Rock Stars have created with
this great sketch.  While you are there why not enter

Totally Stampalicious 3D Project

Every Monday Totally Stampalicious  issues a new challenge.  The challenge for this week is "3D Project". This is the time of year when we we're making little gifts for those special people in our lives so let's see what YOU'RE giving away this year!  I have used  - Poppi Cocoa, for my stamp/image today along with one of the sentiments that comes with the stamp set :)

I have not made any 3D projects before, except a few ornaments, so this was a bit difficult for me.  But here is what I created:

I was looking through one of the crafting magazines out there and came across a project that someone made an Advent calendar using these cute little boxes.  I decided to give it a try.  I used Kraft card stock for my box.  I stamped Poppi Cocoa onto cryogen card stock and colored him in with my copics.  I used my lacey square spellbinder dies for the mat behind Poppi.  I added a sentiment from the stamp set and then a bow from velvet red ribbon.  The top of my box is held together with 2 brads, you can't see them as the bow is hiding them.  I thought this would be perfect to put in a pouch or two of Cocoa.  This is the perfect stamp set for something like that.  Hope you like my creation.....
